Danny Abraham, Senior Loan Officer

Let me start by introducing myself. I’m Danny Abraham, Senior Loan Officer with East Coast Mortgage Lenders, Inc.

I’m originally from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, a small town southwest of Pittsburgh. I went to college in Clarion, PA (the Autumn Leaf Capital of the World!) After college, I moved to Florida’s Treasure Coast and in 1984 and began my banking career working for Harbor Federal.

As I was not familiar with the real estate market during my first year on the Treasure Coast, I found myself living in an undesirable area of Fort Pierce (across the street from the jail!) so shortly thereafter, I moved to Palm City. Since 1985, I’ve lived in Jensen Beach, a great little beach town that a USA Today article titled, “The Surf & Seafood Slow Lane.”

My original plan was to begin my career in banking and then move back to Western Pennsylvania; but as a number of us have and will, I fell in love with the area, the weather, and all of the great outdoor activities available here year round.

A big part of my decision to stay on the Treasure Coast was the amazing friends that I made and all the different people I’ve been introduced to and have learned from who come to our area from throughout the USA and the world.

I’ve been married once, but was never fortunate enough to have children; however, I do have a strong sense of family and community fostered in part by my own parents who still live in Canonsburg PA, in the same house we moved into when I started first grade, and even more amazing, still have the same neighbors!

I love my job! Every mortgage deal, even though it has basically the same paperwork, is really quite different, and I consider it a privilege that I have the rare opportunity to help so many people live the American Dream.
